Description

This limited edition gives you everything that makes Enchanted Rose such an oud-rose extravaganza – and adds a bouquet of purple-blue petals. A full gram of Ta’ifi rose joins the already Nha Trang–soaked base, pushing the saturation past indulgence into a new category of perfume. And then you’ve got this: Not just any oud – this is the heavyweight that completes the West Malaysian trinity alongside Terengganu’s Sultani and Kelantan’s Ahmad.

Built on Sultan Red Rose, this semi-bespoke blend walks a line: “Enchanted” is perhaps too sweet a word for what this is, but “Beastly Strong” seemed too crude.

What you get is Royal Ta’ifi from the 1980s, drowned in more Ta’ifi, then fused into Burmese oud from the same era. That alone could’ve been the finale. What more could you ask of a rose perfume?

But there’s more. Behind the roses sits a cup of black tea – because who’s ever done that? Pear laced with saffron, green mandarin slammed against a wall of red roses.

Then more rose. Lots and lots of roses. The Sultan’s own early ’80s extract of “Dehnal-Ward” – one of the smoothest ottos I’ve smelled – layered over even more Royal Ta’ifi. And beeswax, because when it’s blended with pear and rose, it doesn’t just smell sweet – it smells alien.

Yes, rose can go saccharine if it’s cheap. But this isn’t that. This is the best rose money can buy today, soaking in a Jacuzzi with the best rose money could buy fifty years ago. And when it’s the Sultan’s money, you’re not getting leftovers – you’re getting Ta’ifi petals picked early, that one morning, that one year, almost half a century back.

Then castoreum, because… have you smelled pear essence injected into this rose-oud-black-tea-beeswax cocktail? The result is a diffusive blast of petals, oud smoke, and spice sacks torn open mid-air.

Nha Trang slaps your nose into a sling after the overdose. “Death by Rose” might’ve been a fitting name. And just when the euphoria peaks, vintage Pahang floods in – purple resin over blue resin – and you don’t want the olfactory euphoria to end.

It’s hard to think of a duo that outperforms the ripple effect of Nha Trang bleeding into ancient Pahang agarwood smoke, clinging to the jammy pollen chord of beeswax. And roses. Everywhere.

But this edition goes beyond what is already far more than any rose perfume out there can give you. The bitter, soulful edge of Pahang from the EO Platinum Collection threads through the profile, adding a regal resinous glaze over the pristine roses. And with the added Pahang, you don’t just get more – the overall concentration is also denser and the reddest roses fight to keep up with the bluest spice, with everything they’ve got.

⦿ Your bottle also contains wild incense-grade sinking agarwood twirls – raw, uncut, and oozing agar straight into the perfume.

This is Enchanted Rose with a black slab sparkle. Sinking-grade clarity with vintage patina. Kinamic glints through dense Malayyu resin. It smells like a low-temp wonder with the leathery polish of a 1970s relic – no dust or balsamic overload, just pure peak oud – awash in the most enchanting roses you could wish for.
