AN ALIEN EARTH

The search is on for a habitable exoplanet. A new home.

They call it Earth 2.0.

But I’d argue we’re already there.

We live in this post-natural limbo. A sci-fi greenhouse where life is clean – clinical, even. Slightly alien.

And I don’t mean that in a bad way. But we need to recognize something: We live in two worlds now, and the meanings of our words have shifted.

What do you mean, green?

You’re in this transition to a post-natural world where molecules are lab-pure, where “green” means “synthetic freshness” and every fragrance starts to smell like fabric softener. Perfumes have algorithmic souls that smell… sterile.

But this?

CHLOROPHYLL WITH CLAWS

Green Nirvana takes you to a place where it’s okay to have raw earth under your fingernails. To feel the juice run down your wrist as you crush citrus rind. To smear sap on your skin.

If you’re looking for cucumber mist or lavender fabric softener, you’re in the wrong place.

So forget what you know about “green”. This isn’t soft, leafy, or innocent. This sap-slick, dirt-drenched, citrus-bright frag that fresh doesn’t mean friendly.

Green Nirvana comes spiked with bright-colored citrus, crushed lemon basil, green mandarin, and yuzu peel that smells like lightning hitting a fruit cart. It bites your nose, then fizzes to your head where it zaps your senses with a scent that’s real.

Then comes the plunge: a deep dive down the oud abyss…

THE GREEN TRINITY

From kodo green to aquamarine, the ouds in this perfume are unsurpassed in terms of:

  1. Quality – each one is incense-grade
  2. Historicity – Kyara K was distilled before most people even knew there was oud on this island… and where have you ever smelled a New Guinea cooked in Taiwan?)
  3. Rarity – each distillation represents the highest honors an oud can achieve.

Kyara Ketone is a rare Sri Lankan oud with a sharp kinamic profile drenched in cool blue oud smoke, backed by oceanic honey and dry white florals. A wave of powdery, medicinal intensity laced with mimosa and a touch of naphthalene to create a scent that’s both warm and cool, floral and resin-heavy. Anchored in sticky galbanum with fir to add a foresty vibe to kinamic oceanic green, this chord alone is a perfume in itself.

Port Moresby is a pure, incense-grade New Guinea oud distilled in Taiwan to capture Oriscent’s signature kinamic profile. A bright, blue-green resin note that’s cool, herbaceous, and piercingly smooth. A steady release of sweet amber vapor, green incense, and ethereal kinam smoke from start to drydown with a clean, narcotic clarity. Coupled with frankincense, civet, and rare costus root, you’re in for green like you’ve never smelled.

Seilan Senkoh is a high-grade, aged Sri Lankan oud with fresh, green top notes of frangipani, mimosa, cucumber, and marine algae. There’s a resin-rich, blue-green core characteristic of proper incense-grade Walla Patta agarwood that’s delectably monkoh. Technically demanding to produce and made from scarce, premium-grade wood, Seilan Senkoh stands as one of the most complex and refined oud distillations ever conducted in Ceylon.

As your nose re-adjusts to primal scent of green, you’ll notice the nuances…

SEAWEED, YES

Bulgarian rose otto, not romantic but sharp and peppery, injected with the almost minty freshness of Taifi rose.

Then there’s a weird and beautiful clash: pear, lychee, and seaweed swirl together to let this salty-skin cocktail plunge into the pool of oud.

Green Nirvana is at once thick (olfactorily dense) and refreshing – green tea, maté, and sage run a cool blade through the heat. The air clears, but the scent sticks. You’re in the forest, licking wet stone and caressing moss after the rain, then at sea, then down to oud wonderland – all at once.

ROOTS, BLESSED ROOTS

This is a perfume that breathes life into the present.

Because everything else smells the same. Because you’re done with the mush of molecules you smell everywhere – at the dentist, the department store, the loo. Where there’s an ‘air freshener’.

Welcome back to Earth 1.0 where scents aren’t built but grow from the soil, crack through rocks, dazzle the ocean. Where agarwood trees are alive. Green Nirvana.

LIMITED EDITION. Hand-made leather pouch with an accompanying cap hand-carved from solid Faturan – the most sought-after and expensive material used to carve luxury rosaries.
