Drunken Peach

Equal parts juicy indulgence and herbal pizzazz, DP kicks off likeā¦
Drunken Peach isnāt shy. It opens with a slap of juicy pink grapefruit and bitter orange, chased by green mandarin and cardamom ā like citrus on caffeine. The peach note is lush, ripe, and almost tipsy, swaying through clouds of betel vine and orange flower, twisted with sambac and Japanese rose for a floral swagger thatās anything but delicate.
Green tea and mate give it an edge, like a crisp herbal cocktail stirred with Sichuan pepper and sagebrush. Geranium keeps things sharp, while the aged Yunnanensis anchors it all with a smoky wink. Think peach tonic spilled on a silk robe in a tea house steeped in swagger.
Equal parts juicy indulgence and herbal pizzazz, DP kicks off like citrus gone rogue: a high-octane mix of orange terpenes that fizz and twist like a cocktail spiked with creatine.
Then it spirals. Betel vine adds a green chewiness you werenāt expecting, right before a swirl of jasmine and artemisia bloom on the skin like midnight florals crashing a rooftop party. A touch of white tea lets it fold in a floaty elegance, but donāt let it fool you ā this isnāt a soft landing.
The heart pulls you in deeper. Sichuan pepper sparks like firecrackers on velvet, while the fusion of white tea and mate leaf cuts through with brisk bitternessā¦
⦠and then the peach arrives: ripe, fleshy, and slightly buzzed. Plush with tangy fuzz, it emerges with the weight and warmth of an actual peach held in your hand ā thick with juice, slightly earthy, and brimming with a mellow, skin-like funk.
The Yunnan oud and Japanese rose duo give it a slightly cracked elegance, a faint trace of ripeness tipping toward overripeness⦠you know, that Ā mouthwatering peak juiciness like itās minutes from bruising. And just when you think itās winding down, the Yunnan oud smolders underneath. It doesnāt overpower but lingers, sly and dripping all the way, like distant incense trailing through a back-alley tea house where strange deals go down.
In case you havenāt smelled proper Yunnan oud before, it overflows with lush red tones reminiscent of classic Vietnamese oud, yet laced with a saccharine bite that adds a super addictive sharpness. Its top notes carry a sour-slick zing, evoking sun-ripened fruit loaded with juicy zest ā which, in here, jolts the bitter orange-mandering-grapefruit fizz through the roof!
With the incense-grade caliber, wild-harvested Yunnan oud thatās in there, youāll smell cooling waves of red resin that drift in like velvet smoke laced with citrus zap, like crimson silk dipped in syrup and spice swerving between herb-spiked oud sap and lacquered fruit funk.
Thatās why Yunnan is the perfect oud to imbue a āpeachyā perfume with regality and class ā an oud that, instead of making peach blush, makes it bite its lip and hold eye contactā¦
