Pinoy Paradise

You wouldn’t know what to call this. Fougere? Chypre? Oriental? It’s simply
Pinoy Paradise is one insane perfume, if I may say so myself.
This is actually a bespoke composition that was never finalized that was enhanced and jacked up further, so to date nobody owns a bottle of it.
And, frankly, the composition is so elaborate (and practically unrepeatable without modifications) I doubt I’ll offer it again. Even offering this is quite the undertaking as your bottle will be blended from the ground up, which will let you experience the maturation process in action – you can take a spritz or three once you receive it and then follow the scent progression over time.
We’re doing this deliberately because not only is the scent a chameleon, the maturation experience is part of how this paradise should be explored. A scent so replete and layered, even once it’s ‘settled’ you’d never even know it!
The “Pinoy” gives away a key component of the composition: The granddaddy of Filipino oud (how many perfumes do you know that contain such a luxury? Any?). But that’s just the beginning…
On the oud front, Abuyog’s cool blue resin is complemented by the oceanic aquamarine beauty of Suriranka (which we also distilled in person and have been aging for close to seven years)… decorated with blue lotus.
But the profile isn’t blue…
It truly is a kaleidoscopic “Paradise”. Imagine that blue injected with tobacco doused in Jayapuran green gyrinops sweetened with red berries and red jasmine and the red of Burmese oud with the golden yellow lemony flavor of Ta’ifi rose. Only for a shot of wild Northern Cambodian oud to shake things up even further.
You wouldn’t know what to call this. Fougère? Chypre? Oriental? It’s simply too complex and elaborate a composition to pin it down to one genre. In fact, you’ll smell facets of ALL genres. (One thing’s for sure, this is certainly an OUD perfume!)
It’s not just the complexity of the arrangement, but the aromatics involved: which other perfume couples orange blossom with Sri Lankan oud, Combava lime with hay with Pinoy oud with saffron, and so much more?
Not to mention… it’s Pinoy Paradise: Musc Privée for good reason!
