One of my favorite EOs, maybe due to the love for papua ouds and their amazing profile. This blend is based on Hajar Aswad and upped up with Tigerwood + MarokeSQ. Also, there’s some added Attar of Ward Sultani but as far as the name concerns, it is a real royale fragrance. So dense, dark, resinous and oudy. And then you have the Hajar Aswad profile, giving its enchanting spicy-smoke notes.
For everyone who hasn’t tried Hajar Aswad, there’s a silver plaque available, which I have too and can only recommend. It doesn’t match Maroke Royale but I love to wear it as a daily driver.
