Brunei Kynam

This verdant blue beauty stacks two of the most precious olfactory blues: 80%-100% sinking-grade Brunei Kynam and the velvet serenity, the narcotic allure, the lush, creamy, thick scent of nymphaea caerulea. (Coming in at ~60% concentration, this bespoke is replete with both.)

Hinoki, lychee, orange blossom, angelica root and Sri Lankan sandalwood lay the foundation for one of the most limited ouds in my personal collection diffused through our in-house rose of choice, Taifi Sultani, likely dating to the early eighties.

Brunei Kynam is heady, insanely dense, rich and extravagant to the point where cost was never a factor. Pretty much the only thing that prevents us from doing more is that you’d end up with an attar too thick to spray.

Imagine Brunei’s oil-drunk centennial oud resin dripping from blue lotus petals; Ta’ifi roses and oud bubbling up from the bottom, with the highest-grade oud ever distilled at its core.
