Garden of Eden is composed of the rarest ouds on Earth, including Borneo 3000, Guallam Rouge (a super rare Vietnamese/Yunnan co-distill infused with raw Tonkin musk), and the mind-blowing kinamic blast of Kyara.

Now, imagine those ouds woven into threads of tuberose, jasmine sambac, jonquil, and beeswax…

Not including the high doses of Tibetan musk and ambergris that make up the carrier, the perfume’s concentration is 40%+, while pure oud makes up a whole third of the compound – so, when someone says the the perfume is replete, it’s no exaggeration.

Dear citizens of the known Oudiverse…

The time has come to snap out my trusty keyboard and share my thoughts on a perfume that I would have never thought I would have the privilege to add to my collection, Garden of Eden.

In short: I tap out… this is hands down the most beautiful olfactory journey one can embark on.

Short version Long: First we start with the creation.

Big bang, chaos, oud, florals, etc etc, like a genie furious to finally escape from the bottle.

Since most of our ensars open like this, you know the drill, don’t force it, just let the perfume say hi first, then we know it’s ready to be enjoyed.

On first encounter we have a wonderful, fresh, green, slightly earthy floral note with an underlying honey sweetness. The balance is perfect throughout the entire journey, we merely shift the palette later on. The garden begins to grow from its initial state.

In the first 3 hours, we are going to grow slowly towards the sweeter facet. And then all of a suddenBAAAAAAMMMM…..

The garden has opened its gates and the scent hits you so brutally, that social security won’t cover it…

Welcome to Eden… the most beautiful sweet honey oud in front, playing our neurons like majorette figures.

Conjuring enough strength to snap out from the seemingly permanent state of mindblowness, the observer may…. Oh boy… who am I kidding?

Sorry, I can’t lie to you, you can’t snap out… The truth is, you won’t have a proper focus on literally anything you have going on in your life for the next 10-12 hours.

I come from a nose where I didn’t like green(-ish) perfumes… then came Qi Nan, then 1984 and now GoE… and there’s no turning back for me.

Nature can destroy, but also create. This perfume is nature in its kindest, warmest, nurturing, life supporting form. It’s. Just. Beautiful.

THE PERFECT CREATION

We all know the bibilical history of the GARDEN OF EDEN. It was God’s creation of heaven on earth. It was a place without blemish, a place without sin, a place that He created for us…..mandkind. Adam and Eve were surrounded buy all the glory and splendor crafted by the artisitc HANDS OF GOD!! Can you imagine the peace, the tranquility, the fragrant smells of every flower we could imagine, the olfactory delights of every fruit, every shrub, every blade of grass.

Can you imagine the majesty of the trees that filled the garden, this heaven on earth? MonsieurMadame Oud can just see the animals running around, getting there fill on the bounty of the garden, we can here the birds singing their praises to God above, we can feel the mist of waterfalls gently floating through the air as they flow over the edge from where they came. One day, we hope to visit that heavenly garden and immerse ourselves in all its glory.

But until that day comes, MonsieurMadame Oud have been blessed to be able to immerse ourselves in this heavenly scent created by the artistic hands of Ensar Oud…….GARDEN OF EDEN!!!

Although we use this very sparingly, it is without a doubt, a fragrance that I hope heaven smells like. The initial burst is that sultry tuberose that dances like the angels in heaven, mixing with potent sweetness of jasmin and held close by its partner jonquil and spring time honey. Not overly sweet, but a perfect blend that lets you enjoy their fragrant and bright beauty. Then come the ouds, ouds that

Ensar Oud describes as the rarest on earth….the intoxicating and powdery airiness of White Kinam from Malinau. Then the Gullam Rouge from Vietnam makes its appearance, adding a unique depth, sort of a mindblowing elegance that is sensual, delicate, pheromonal, lending a woody incense that is both bitter and sweet at the same time. But wait, there is more….the rarest of ouds, Kyara is brilliantly blended in this ethereal creation as well, giving your nose a blast of otherworldy, velvety smooth, healing medicinal green green green. Words can barely describe the beauty that Kyara adds to this already perfect blend. And finally, all of this is wrapped in the subtle warmth of raw Tonkin Musk. Its not animalic like you might expect, but it adds that bit of feral nature that is transcending and just carries you to another place.

There is no perfection in our world today, but this is as close as you can get in our opinion. If you ever get a chance, you need to visit heaven on earth, which is Ensar Oud‘s GARDEN OF EDEN.

UPDATE:

MadameOud wore this tonight after we saw EO offering it again. We asked EO if he could recreate this for us last year and he happily agreed.

This was probably in the early summer of 2023. We have not worn this rare gem but a couple of times and it has been maturing beautifully in our EO collection.

But after reading our initial review posted in september of 2023, we can only say this…..its even better now. Seriously OUDDICTS, this is a perfectly blended piece/peace of Heaven on earth…..ethereal to the Nth degree.

If you have not tried this, we promise it is worth every penny. I know it is the year of the Dragon in the Far East, but you can make it the year of Heaven in your olfactory bank for eternity once you douse your skin with the GARDEN OF EDEN!!

There is no denying how good GOD is once you experience HIS beautiful creations of nature that were utilized in this composition by Ensar Oud. All we can say after spraying this again tonight is that we hope you get a chance to experience the aroma that we imagine Adam and Eve got to experience at the dawn of Creation…..GARDEN OF EDEN.
