Life is Beautiful: Pattani
This luxurious profile is further dipped in…
Do you know of another perfume that contains proper wild, incense-grade Thai oud? Do you even know of any wild Thai ouds? What about incense-grade Thai ouds, distilled according to Oriscent parameters? (There has only ever been one.) Ten years ago, it was already a mission to find even cultivated Thai ouds of acceptable quality, so the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful ouds I know of in a perfume that also plays on the zest of Thailand’s exotic scenery is a wondrous thing. For me, and for you. For anyone who gets to experience this once-in-a-lifetime fragrance.
Pattani (Oriscent) is the finest wild Thai I’m aware of (certainly that I’ve ever smelled), and the way it fuses with Thailand’s native frangipani and champaca to stir up an exotic flare while saffron (and another secret ingredient) drapes the fragrance in sultry sophistication. This luxurious profile is further dipped in a herbaceous bitter yuzu-basil fusion cooling effect, as another of Thailand’s miracles – blue water lily – admixed with beeswax and tuberose, with the bite of angelica root, adds lift and a beautifully dense floral heart accord that carries Pattani.
