Before oud was an industry, before buzzwords and branding – there were ouds like these. Each oldie in this set is a distillation of time itself, bottled decades ago when wild agarwood still grew untouched, and distillers weren’t beholden to short-term ROIs.

This set is your entry into a lost world: four vintage ouds, each distilled in circa 1970s/80s, each telling a story no distiller alive today could replicate.

Each vial contains 0.3gr, plenty enough to study, wear, and savor. Plus a bonus attar sample to further your scent journey.

The Oud Underworld: Olde Hoi An

 A Hoi An masterpiece steeped in a fig-plum-tobacco glow with a narcotic pitch. Medicinal bite, agarwood liqueur, sencha bitterness – all wrapped in hypnotic incense that never fades. This isn’t meant to be understood. It’s meant to be felt.

Oudurance: Kachar 1979

An Indian oud distilled in the late 70s, aged into molasses-sweet liqueur and herbal rooibos. Earthy spice, dried fruit, and incense echo the legacy of ghalias gifted to kings. 

“If there’s one Hindi to convert you, it’s this.”

The Architype: Negara 1985

A reference oud distilled from Kelantan’s lowland jungles. Dry, medicinal cubeb spice opens into purple florals and unsmoked tobacco warmth. Linear and clean, this oil is a scent dictionary entry for Malaysian oud.

A Time Before the Rush: Myitkyina 1987

Burmese oud from the mid-80s, made before shortcuts and industry pressure took over. Leathery, spicy, with sun-dried tobacco and burnt caramel over black tea. No sharpness – just the clarity of time-aged resin from trees likely born in the 1800s.
