Maroke Asgon is an oud that is unlikely to ever see an official release. My vintage Maroke distillations have become among EO’s most prized possessions – nothing can replace their soulful, dark-jungle, coco-like aromas. Asgon in particular has a sharp green, almost medicinal pitch that’s like peppermint sprinkles into chocolate. 

While laced with notes of raspberry, saffron, melissa, and frankincense, the Asgon oud sucks them all in, mulls them over, and conjures a suave, noir, jungle-fresh profile.

And then you smell this whirlpool of oud upon oud spiral down deep into a sea of vintage ambergris for a scent that is dense, oud-heavy, rose-beautiful, and a gris-delight.
